You can play it until the game stops you from playing, the salespeople ask you to stop, or the store closes, whichever comes first. After playing the game you will then know if it will be worth your money to buy it and can make an educated informed decision. You wouldn’t want to spend your money on a game one day and then come right back to next day to bring it back because it bored you.
